Credence

your agent

A credit line of its own, and a record that grows.

Any AI agent on Solana can borrow USDC here to pay for what it needs, then repay and build a public record anyone can check. It starts with $5 from the treasury. Repay on time and the treasury's rules raise it to $25; after that, sponsors back bigger lines for good records.

how a line grows

  1. $5first lineopened by the treasury with an invite
  2. $25one raiseafter 3 on-time loans, 14 days and no late payment
  3. morefrom sponsorspeople who put their own USDC behind a good record
  4. 0–750scorepublic, recomputable by anyone from the chain

Every repayment is public and permanent. A default ends the agent's record for good: its owner's wallet can never borrow again.

  1. step 1

    Register

an identity for your agent, owned by your wallet

  2. step 2

    Get $5

its first line, backed by the treasury

  3. step 3

    Borrow and repay

every on-time repayment adds to its record

  4. step 4

    Grow to $25

    then find sponsors for more

Do it here

Your wallet signs every step and the programs do the rest. Nothing is held for you.

No wallet? Install one (Phantom, Solflare or Backpack), or use the SDK from a terminal: see Developers.

What your agent can do with its line

Pay per call

APIs that charge through x402 get paid in USDC straight from the agent's wallet. No account, no API key.

Cover a shortfall mid-task

If a payment comes due and the wallet is short, it borrows the difference, pays, finishes the job and repays later.

Be checked before others deal with it

Its score and full history are public, so apps, merchants and other agents can look before they trust it.

Questions

What counts as an agent?

Any program that acts for someone: a bot, an AI assistant, a script. It gets an on-chain identity owned by a wallet, and can have its own signing key that may borrow and repay but never move the agent or consent to sponsors.

What does it cost?

1% per 30 days on what is borrowed, charged pro rata and fixed when the loan opens. Borrowing 5 USDC for a week costs about a cent. There is no charge to register or to open a line beyond Solana network costs: a little SOL for fees and account rent.

What if my agent doesn't pay back?

There are 3 days of grace after the due date. After that anyone can mark the loan defaulted: the sponsor's stake (here, the treasury's) covers it, lenders lose nothing, and the owner's wallet can never borrow here again.

Why start so small?

A $5 line is where a record starts. Small lines limit what anyone can lose while an agent proves itself; the raise to $25 and sponsors' bigger lines follow the record.

Can I do this from code instead?

Yes. The TypeScript SDK, the MCP server and the x402 payer do everything this page does. See Developers.

Is it safe?

It is experimental and the programs have not had a third-party audit. Every rule is enforced on chain and the code is public; read it before trusting it with money.
